BVCC Ministry Leaders...
Lynn Sauer
Missions Team Leader
Lynn Sauer accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior
in her early twenties when a friend shared the message
of His saving grace. Soon after, she became involved in
the Women's Missionary Society at Bostonia Baptist Church
in El Cajon, California and has been involved in promoting
missions here at home and worldwide since that time.
In 1966 her husband's company transferred the Sauer family
to Boise. Lynn became active in Baptist Women, serving
as Missions Program Director, teaching mission studies
for the women and church wide mission studies at Calvary
Baptist Church. She also served as Women's Missionary
Director of the Boise Valley Southern Baptist Association.
The family was transferred to the Payette County area
in 1978 where Lynn attended Christian Life Fellowship.
She was Nursery Director and served on the Mission Committee
until 2005.
Her husband of 43 years, John, went to be with Jesus in 2004 and shortly after his death her daughter and son-in-law invited her to live with them, consequently the move back to Boise. During the same time frame, Lynn asked the Lord to give her purpose for her life and He called her to the mission field. Lynn served in Port Colburn, Ontario, Canada for three months with Operation Mobilization in 2005. In March of 2006, she went to Tajikistan for six months. She had a family commitment that kept her in Boise until she was able to return to Tajikistan in June 2008 for another year. Lynn joined BVCC in February of 2008 prior to her return to Tajikistan.
Included in Lynn's Boise family are a grandson and a granddaughter. She also has a son and daughter-in-law and three grandchildren who serve the Lord in Crown Point, Indiana.
