Ryan & Dara Kuntz
Marrieds 20/40 Coordinators
Dara is a "military brat" and moved around quite a bit during her childhood. She is fortunate enough to call Hawaii home for about 10 years while her family was stationed at Pearl Harbor multiple times. It was there that she was invited to a youth group and began attending church with a couple of friends. She accepted Christ at the end of high school."
Ryan was born in Pullman, Washington and moved down to Boise half way through high school. Most of his extended family is here and he loves the Northwest. Raised catholic, Ryan didn’t come to accept the Lord until attending college at the University of Idaho.
It was at the University of Idaho that God did huge works in both of Dara and Ryan’s lives. Separately, they were involved with Campus Crusade for Christ and grew in their faith and knowledge of what it meant to be a Christ follower. It wasn’t until the end of their time at UI that the Lord began to bring them together. Dara was actually living back in Hawaii and had returned to campus to visit friends for a couple of weeks. She ran into Ryan during that visit and the rest is history…Dara and Ryan grew close during a long distance relationship over the Pacific. Dara eventually moved to Boise and they were married in October of 2005. They have two sons, Camden and Cole.
Watching family and friends, Ryan and Dara have experienced the amazing joy and heartache that marriage can bring. They have watched with awe at the way God builds a romance and brings couples together. They have also cried as they watched the world destroy the beautiful relationship that reflect God’s love for us. Now, having two kids and being busier than ever, they have a burden to come alongside other couples in this season of life and fight for marriages. They believe that marriages are under attack and that we are not meant to go through life alone. They hope to provide a place of fellowship and encouragement though this ministry.
