Youth & Video Team Leader - Forward Motion Productions

I was born in the landlocked state of Idaho and as long as I can remember I’ve had a desire to become a professional surfer.  Too bad the ocean is 10 hours away.

I grew up going to church in the small Idaho town of Idaho City, but didn’t make the decision to follow Jesus until I was twelve years old on Halloween night.

During my high school years, God put in my heart a passion for world missions, music, and video productions.  When I was first introduced to Boise Valley Christian Communion back in 2003, I found a church family that encouraged and allowed me to pursue my God-given dreams.

Since I’ve been here at BVCC, I have become a leader in the youth group, learned to play the bass guitar and drums for the worship team, and started a video productions ministry called Forward Motion Productions.  Most importantly, I met my wife, Anna at this church.  That’s a blessing.  Together we have decided to pursue missions to the Philippines and hope one day to minister there full time.  Maybe then I will become the world renowned surfer that Idaho has been looking for!
