Johna Barnes

Johna Barnes was Born in Idaho Falls and raised in Boise. She accepted Christ at the age of fifteen. Johna attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX earning an associates degree in Christian Education. She returned to Boise and married Glenn Barnes in 1990. They moved to Huntsville, AL in 1994 where they lived for nine years. They returned to Boise and BVCC in 2003. During that time she has taught in Deeper Roots and is currently involved with the youth ministry team helping with Sunday school. Johna enjoys American and world history and Biblical history and reading Apologetics. She loves the beauty and nature of Idaho and loves to hike and bird watch. She is also interested in arts and crafts including photography, sewing and Batik. She and Glenn live in Nampa with their two dogs Sassy and Big Lou.
